About Magnolia’s Pet Grooming

Magnolia’s Pet Grooming originally started in the Century 21 Building, Downtown Whitehall, in 2013. Later, purchasing a building and moving to 8210 Whitehall Road in Whitehall, Magnolia’s Pet Grooming continues to pamper our pets. Owner, Jen Klaus attributes the business success to the location change, hard work, and the loving support of her family, friends, & the community. The name Magnolia’s comes from Jen’s late, great, Jack Russell Terrier, Maggie (or Mimi is what her name morphed into later). Unfortunately, Mimi passed away at the age of 11. She was happy and healthy her whole life and she is deeply missed. The staff of Magnolia’s Pet Grooming strives to mirror the dependability, predictability, relationships, and love we learn from our extended fur family. We are always accepting new family members, stop in anytime!

Meet the Groomers

JENNIFER KLAUS “Hello, I’m Jen Klaus, the owner of Magnolia’s Pet Grooming. My husband and I are lifelong residents of the White Lake Area. We have four children, five dogs, and three cats! I am lucky to be on this journey with him, he not only helped to remodel the new building, and make it such a beautiful location but he takes care of all my building maintenance and takes great pride in helping me to be successful.  I have been grooming since 2007 and I LOVE what I do! For me, grooming is a creative outlet and I love the challenge. I enjoy making your pet (even the more difficult ones) more comfortable and look their best.  I feel very fortunate with the support of our community, my business is growing every day, and I’m very excited to see what the future holds!

MEGAN ANEY “I have been in the pet grooming business since 2002. I truly enjoy interacting with pet owners and hearing their pet stories. I will always go the extra mile to make my customers happy. I have mastered proper techniques in pet handling and quality haircutting. I am very experienced in grooming ‘difficult’ pets, those that bite, scratch, wiggle, or are otherwise difficult for most groomers to complete, including cats! I pride myself on being patient, gentle, and humane to all the animals I groom. I am very knowledgeable in all types of hairstyles and breed-specific clips.”

NICOLE MAYCROFT “I’ve lived in Muskegon my entire life. I’ve been grooming since 2014, and I find grooming to be the most rewarding job I’ve ever had in my entire life. I started out as a bather at Magnolia’s, and by the end of that year I loved it so much and learned how to groom! I’m your girl for any giant breed dogs you need to bring in, they’re my favorite.
